Cleaning

With the next two days holiday, work was too quiet by 3:30.. I left around 4.

1. loaded up the 4x8 trailer with about half garbage, half recycling and the old dishwasher and off to the dump. Still a pile of cardboard in the garage.. oh well.

2. Removed the 150 grit sandpaper from the glass head machine :), scraped off the dried glue with a razor scraper and glued on the 220 for the next round. In these temps (low 40s) it takes the glue a while to dry to the point where it won't pop right off.

3. Got the new seatbelt buckle for the Matrix. Installed it on the seat, reinstalled the seat, and took the opportunity to clean the interior with the shopvac. It was disgusting and the stains left by wife and kids on the seats look like they aren't going to come out easily. Small carpet shampooer? Last time I had seats cleaned in cool weather, they went moldy. Was disgusting and just about ruined the car. I sold it quickly!
